36 new homes and a modern community hall at the heart of Cricklewood
MJP Planning led the planning application for the redevelopment of the Cricklewood Trades Hall, a proposal for 36 high-quality apartments above a new purpose-built community hall. The scheme replaces an outdated building with a contemporary seven-storey development that contributes to Barnet’s small sites housing targets while delivering a fit-for-purpose hall for the long-established working men’s club. Designed with active frontages, new landscaping and sustainable features including green roofs and rain gardens, the project enhances the streetscape of Cricklewood Lane and creates a vibrant, community-focused landmark.
