An application was approved for the redevelopment of 72–74 Regents Park Road, replacing a large detached property with a part three, part four-storey building of nine contemporary flats. The scheme optimises this accessible brownfield site, while retaining family accommodation with a generous ground-floor unit and garden. The design reduces in scale towards Beechwood Avenue and uses high-quality buff brick and precast detailing to respond to the varied local context. Basement parking, cycle storage, landscaping and a green roof are incorporated, ensuring a sustainable and design-led contribution to Barnet’s housing needs.
