Boutique hotel approved in the heart of Peckham’s Rye Lane Conservation Area

Permission has been secured for a five-storey boutique hotel at 221 Rye Lane, delivering 14 design-led bedrooms in one of South London’s busiest town centres. The scheme replaces an outdated single-storey unit, completing the streetscape with a building that matches the 4–6 storey rhythm of its neighbours. High-quality brickwork and a carefully considered façade respond to the varied character of Rye Lane, while the active ground floor maintains a vibrant frontage. With excellent transport links, the hotel makes optimal use of previously developed land and adds to Peckham’s visitor economy.
