Mixed-use mews development of 15 homes and workspace in Hackney

MJP Planning submitted a full application with GPAD Architects for the redevelopment of a backland warehouse site on Dalston Lane. The scheme proposed 15 high-quality apartments above new commercial floorspace, arranged around landscaped courtyards with green roofs and generous private terraces. Designed to respond sensitively to the conservation area and surrounding listed buildings, the project sought to optimise an underused brownfield site to deliver much-needed homes and modern workspace in a highly sustainable location.
